		<description><![CDATA[<p>Zócalo Public Square is pleased to announce the appointment of Bianca Collins as its Director of Public Programs.</p>
<p>Collins brings years of experience working as a curator, an art consultant, and a writer. Most recently she served as curator of public programs at UCLA’s Fowler Museum. There she developed a series of programs called “Share the Mic” which brought together artists, activists, and allies for justice; and commissioned a performance piece with Patrisse Cullors, “A Prayer for the Runner,” a public act of mourning that honored Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd. She has also produced cultural programming for NeueHouse and helmed the art and culture program for FORM Arcosanti (the “Festival for the Future,” from <em>Pitchfork).</em></p>
<p>In addition to her extensive work in curation and event planning and production, Collins has served as editor of “Art Talk” on KCRW’s “All Things Considered,” and writes as the Art Minion </p>
